Not only were they prompt and on budget, they understood what we wanted, added a few wonderful suggestions and delivered beyond our expectations. Allowing a stranger into our home to create a permanent work of art was a big leap of faith, but Wall Fashions delivered beyond our wildest expectations. Bruce Houghton, President - Skyline Music Wall Fashions created a back splash treatment for our kitchen last fall 2009. I had seen what I wanted at a kitchen display at a kitchen remodeling store. They visited the display, took pictures and created several sample boards for consideration. They listened to me and made the corrections in the sample and technique that we felt matched the display very well. Indeed the finished back splash treatment is beautiful and is just what I had in mind! The job took approximately a day and a half longer than was estimated, but they did not rush to finish to meet their schedule. I hired this company to render the Ralph Lauren Suede texture paint technique in my bedroom. The company completed an excellent job for 1/4 of the estimates that I received from other companies. Paint brands fell into two distinct groups – high performers and the rest. In that top group, you can count on buying paint that goes on easily, is durable and performs up to your expectations. The factor that can set apart the best performers from others, when product and price are basically comparable, is how well they work with customers to help them understand how to get the most out of their paint. Since 88 percent of the study’s respondents report that they apply interior paint themselves or with help from family and friends, proper education about paint selection, equipment, surface preparation and application technique greatly enhances the customer’s experience with the paint. When you’re in do it yourself mode, having clear and helpful design guides and instructions can tip the balance towards satisfaction.
